The Cast of Wizards of Waverly Place and Where They are now!

I know that you (yes you) on this blog can remember that famous theme tune you know that ‘everything is not what it seems’. Let’s get started. 

The star of the show was Alex Russo, who was played by Selena Gomez. Since the end of Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena has branched out more from acting and has expanded her music career, with hits such as come and get it and the heart wants what it wants. Even though her acting and music career are sky rocketing she has still been tied down to her now ex- (on and off) boyfriend Justin Beiber. Things seem good now and she seems happy with her rumored boyfriend Zedd.

Alex’s older brother Justin Russo, played by David Henrie. Who you might remember seeing in How I Met Your Mother, playing Ted Mosby’s son Luke Mosby, has been in some movies such as Grown ups 2 and he has some movies coming out this year, such as Mall Cop 2, that you’ll have to look out for.

Next up we have Max Russo, Alex’s baby brother, 

Jake T Austin. He has had a busy life since the show wrapped up I 2012 and you might recognize him from being in Gary Marshall’s hit   romantic-comedy New Year’s Eve. You might also recognize his voice from Rio & Rio 2 where he voiced Fernando. If you would like to get hooked on a TV show he is currently a main cast member in  the hit TV show The Fosters. And if you still what more there are some old videos that Jake T Austin has on his old YouTube account called Jakeethekid, he’s not active on it anymore but he looks so cute on them you just have to check them out.

Now let’s talk about Theresa Russo, María Canals Barrera. She hasn't done much but she has been acting on a TV show called Cristela till this very day. I wish her the best of luck.

Next up is David DeLuise also known as Jerry Russo the patriarch of the Russo family. David’s been keeping pretty busy with parts in TV shows such as Rizzoli & Isles and R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour. He’s also been on the big screen for movies like Last Call and A Christmas Wedding Date. He also had a small part in Baby Daddy a show you should defiantly watch.

Now for the girl who sang that hat song with Alex you know…“What’s that a hat, crazy funky, junky hat, overslept, hair unsightly, trying to look like Kiera Knightly, we’ve been there, we’ve done that, we see right through you funky hat.”  Anyway now that we’ve got that out of our system I can tell you that Harper Finkle played by the brilliant actor Jennifer stone has been in some brilliant movies such as Mean girls 2, Nothing Left To Fear and High school Possession. Wow do I see a theme going here.

I can proudly say that The cast of Wizards of Waverly place have all moved onto greater and better things, but having said that Disney channel has never been the same since. I wish they could have another reunion (sigh).

Top five moveis to watch on valentine's day

This week on PeaceTalks I will be talking about Valentine’s Day and specifically the top five movies you should consider to watch and in a random order. I have movies for teens and the classics The movies I have picked are, Keith, the fault in our stars, a walk to remember, titanic, and finally but not least the twilight saga. I have movies for teens, the romantic comedy lovers and the classics.

Keith, A Walk To Remember and The Fault In Our Stars are both about teens who have an illness but the movies makes up the sadness with their undying love for each other.

Twilight is a different kind of story I feel that it is the ultimate movie marathon for valentine’s day. If you are looking to fall in love with Kristen Stewart and the (handsome) Robert Pattinson. I know I definitely will.

Titanic has probably been then ‘the’ movie that most people think of when they think of valentine’s day. This movies great time and time again it just never gets old, and do you know what I still cry every single time. Now that’ what I call a powerful movie.

Saphira fashion is one of my favourite YouTubers. She is a seventeen year old girl from L.A. She has done videos from sex in high school, period stories to more serious subjects such as water conservation and am I cool. Those videos might sound boring to you but she does the occasional beauty videos which are really interesting. I think the best part of her is that she always says her mind whether you like it or not.

Yes she is labelled as a YouTube guru she’s expanded her branch from where she started 5 years ago I 2010. She has over 70,000 subscribers and over 7 million views. I truly believe she has made a difference in someone’s life.

I love when she says in every video “Be happyJ”. This quote means a lot to me because she is constantly reminding you to be happy and sometimes that’s all it takes to make someone happy. She also writes in the description “If you made it to the bottom of the description box, then I'd just like to say that I love you :) Please take the time today to smile. Even if it's just once, even if it's fake, even if it's hard, even if you're down. Be happy :)” Every time I see that I take the time to smile because I know she cares!
